Bat Box, Austin TX is an interactive sculpture-video project made with Katie Reisbeck, a bat enthusiast who I met through Craigslist and paid to take videos of the bat colony that lives under the Congress Avenue Bridge in Austin, Texas. I edited the raw footage that Katie sent me into a 3.5 minute video, which plays in a sculpture I made according to instructions for making a bat box. Special thanks to Katie and Rebecca Senn, who collaborated on the instructions I sent to Katie.
